There is a community of people who have been blind for centuries live on another world. They use special devices that they have had so they do not run into other people. One girl in the supposedly happy community wishes to escape. Her friend Jacob has something strange happen to him when he turns 13 years old. He becomes a Seer. He can see the world out of his eyes. Will he try to escape or have surgery done by the ghostbox to remove his vision for good?
